What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device during your visit. We also use similar techniques such as local storage. Some are strictly necessary to make the website work, others are only placed after your consent.
Which categories do we use?
- Necessary — essential for core functionality such as cart, language preference, security and remembering your cookie choice. These cookies are always active and require no consent.
- Analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) to measure how visitors use the site and the cart, so we can improve the shop. These cookies are only placed after you give consent.
- Marketing — we use Google Ads measurement to see which ads lead to a visit and to show relevant advertising. These cookies are only placed after you give consent.
We use Google Consent Mode v2. The Google tag defaults to denied: without your consent no analytics or marketing cookies are placed and Google only measures in an anonymised, aggregated way. As soon as you change your choice, we pass that on to Google immediately. Because checkout runs on a Shopify domain, measurement continues when you move to the checkout. Google may process data outside the EU, including in the United States.
How long do we keep cookies?
Session cookies disappear as soon as you close your browser. Persistent cookies are kept for up to 12 months, depending on their purpose. Your cookie preference itself is stored for a maximum of 6 months and expires automatically afterwards, after which we ask for consent again, so the banner does not appear on every page view.
Withdrawing or changing consent
You can change your consent at any time via the button above or through your browser settings. If you allow only necessary cookies, the website continues to work fully but we will not place analytical or marketing cookies.
