PDRN stands for polydeoxyribonucleotide and consists of small, purified DNA fragments extracted from salmon. During the purification process, proteins, fats and other components are removed. What remains is sodium DNA with short polynucleotide chains; it is not salmon sperm itself.

Where comparable PDRN serums with a 2% concentration are largely only available to professionals, this is one of the few serums at this high concentration accessible for home use.

This serum has a higher viscosity than most other sterile serums, which means it can be drawn up more slowly through the cannula and syringe. Bring the serum to body temperature under the tap or in a water bath of 35°-37°. Never heat the serum in a microwave or by any other direct method. Attach the cannula firmly to the syringe, insert it carefully into the ampoule and slowly and steadily draw back the plunger. Working calmly prevents air bubbles and makes it easier to draw up the serum. It is normal for this serum to offer slightly more resistance than the other sterile serums.

Due to its high viscosity and formulation, it is not intended for that. This serum is specifically developed for use during a microneedling treatment.

It is advisable to consult a doctor or allergist, as the PDRN in this product is derived from salmon.
