The Salmon DNA PDRN Sterile Serum is a sterile, highly concentrated microneedling serum with polynucleotides (PDRN) derived from salmon DNA. This formula is designed to intensely hydrate, revitalize, and support the skin for a smoother, firmer, and more refined appearance. Thanks to its perfect viscosity, the serum glides comfortably over the skin during microneedling.

How to use the serum

This serum has a higher viscosity than most other sterile serums. As a result, it may be drawn up more slowly through the cannula and syringe. Bring the serum to body temperature under the tap or in a water bath of 35°-37°. Never warm the serum in a microwave or any other direct way. Attach the cannula firmly to the syringe, carefully insert it into the ampoule and pull the plunger back slowly and evenly. Working calmly prevents air bubbles and allows the serum to be drawn up more easily. It is normal for this serum to offer slightly more resistance than the other sterile serums.

PDRN stands for polydeoxyribonucleotide and consists of small, purified DNA fragments extracted from salmon. During the purification process, proteins, fats and other components are removed. What remains is sodium DNA with short polynucleotide chains; it is not salmon sperm itself.

Where comparable PDRN serums with a 2% concentration are largely only available to professionals, this is one of the few serums at this high concentration accessible for home use.

A hyaluronic acid serum is primarily focused on hydration: it helps retain moisture, which can make the skin feel plumper, more supple and more comfortable. Salmon DNA serum is more focused on skincare and improved skin condition, with a focus on a smooth, elastic and radiant appearance.

Due to its high viscosity and formulation, it is not intended for that. This serum is specifically developed for use during a microneedling treatment.

It is advisable to consult a doctor or allergist, as the PDRN in this product is derived from salmon.
